One-on-One Adaptive Swimming Lessons
3 to 17 years old

Inclusivity is at the heart of our mission, ensuring each child experiences the joy of swimming!

​RA Aquatics is excited to introduce One-on-One Adaptive Swimming Lessons in the outdoor pool tailored specifically to children with additional needs. 

​These adaptive one-on-one swimming lessons provide a supportive and nurturing environment where children can thrive at their own pace. Individualized support and attention, along with customized lesson plans, allow each swimmer to flourish in a safe, sensory-friendly and inclusive environment, while building confidence, improving water safety skills, and achieving personal swimming milestones.
 
Our certified instructors are hand-picked for their compassion, patience, and commitment and have also completed intro to autism training from Ausome Ottawa.  
 
Whether they are just starting to get their toes wet or have previous swimming experience, we are dedicated to helping each child experience the joy of swimming!

Please note:

• One (1) grown up is allowed to enter the water and actively participate in the lessons with the registered swimmer (optional - not mandatory).
• One-on-one Adaptive Swimming lessons (originally designed to be part of Ausome Ottawa's Out and About program) are run by trained RA Aquatic staff and will continue as planned this summer.

Cancellation & Refund Information

Aquatics (Swim lessons) 
To cancel a registration, please send written cancellation request to RA Member Services by e-mail at [email protected] with the full name of the registered participant(s), the program name(s) and session date(s) you wish to cancel. Cancellations cannot be done on-line.

If written cancellation request is received at least 14 days PRIOR to the beginning of the session: 

• Refund - $30 administration fee per registered participant per session.
• Account Credit - flat $30 administration fee.
• Transfer – no fee, pending availability.
  ​ 

If written cancellation request is received WITHIN 14 days of the beginning of the session: 

• No refund, credit or transfer.

 
NOTES

• Refunds will be processed by the same method of payment.
• Should the registered participant miss 3 consecutive days of the session due to illness or injury, please e-mail [email protected] to discuss possible accommodations.
• Should a swimming lesson be cancelled by the RA due to thunder and/or lightning, where possible a make-up class will be scheduled. If no make-up class can be scheduled, a pro-rated credit will be placed on your RA account​. 
• If a program is cancelled by the RA prior to the start of the session registrants will receive a full refund.
