RA Summer Camps

Pre-Requisites & Important Info
​Candidates must be 17+ in age by the start of camp and available the entire 8 weeks of summer. All camp applicants must be available for mandatory training from Wednesday June 25 to Sunday June 29.
Interviews will take place from March-April. The interview format will be a 30 minute one-on-one virtual  interview with a member of the RA Leadership Team. ​Please note, due to a high volume of applications only the candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. 

RA Aquatics

The following RA Aquatics positions are open for applications: ​
​The following RA Aquatics positions have been filled:
  • Aquatics Coordinator ($20/hour)
  • Headguard ($19/hour)

​Pre-Requisites & Important Info
Candidates must be 16+ in age by the start of camp and available the entire 8 weeks of summer. All applicants must have the following current certifications expiring after September 2025 to be considered for an interview:
  • Lifeguard & Instructing Experience
  • National Lifeguard Pool Certificate
  • Lifesaving Instructor Certificate or Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
  • Airway Management Certificate
Interviews will take place from March-April. The interview format will be a 30 minute one-on-one virtual  interview the RA Leadership Team. Successful candidates will proceed to the in-water screening. This portion of the screening allows the Leadership Team to evaluate swimming, life-saving, instructional and first-aid skills both as individuals and in team settings. The in-water screening will be similar to NLS testing and will take place during the training in June. Please note, due to a high volume of applications only the candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. 
All aquatic applicants must be available for mandatory training from Wednesday June 25 to Sunday June 29.

The application is designed with a series of questions that will give our hiring team a better idea of your experience, qualities and skills in relations to a camp or aquatic setting. Please ensure that you have all your information handy (including your work experience, any applicable certifications and two (2) professional references) before beginning the application process.

Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Criminal Background Check (18 years or older only), a First Aid and CPR C certificate and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless medically exempt.
