Junior Day Camps

4 & 5 years old
Campers must be the minimum age of the camp group by the first day for which they are registered. The RA’s Junior Day Camp is designed to be the next step for four and five year olds as they continue to practice routines, transitions and structured activities. Our safe and secure program takes place in multiple spaces around the RA and is geared for youngsters who are already comfortable in care away from family. Junior Day Camps are bustling with activities and noise and often smaller groups cluster together to augment the fun factor. With our team of fun-loving, caring counsellors, your child will have a blast participating in age-appropriate activities, including co-operative games, crafts, songs and special activities centered on a different theme each camp session. The program encourages social interaction, confidence building and skill development in a wide range of fun and engaging activities. Campers will get the chance to splash around and cool off with a daily swim in our shallow pool. Lifejackets will be provided and for everyone's safety must be worn at all times regardless of individual swimming abilities. Camp Add-ons
The following options can be added to your camp registration. Extended Care Optional Early/Late Extended care is available for all camps held at the RA Centre. If you require either early drop-off or late pick-up, please ensure you’ve registered for Extended Care (additional fees apply). Extended Care Fees (fees are per week)

Junior Day Camp Sessions
Superheroes - June 30-July 4 & July 28-August 1
Calling all Superheroes! Master your superhuman powers, build your moral code and discover your true identity. Everyone has a superhero inside of them, come discover yours! Campers will step right into the pages of a comic book as they complete missions, defeat super villains, and learn what it takes to be a hero!
*Please note: Camp does not operate on Tuesday July 2, 2025.

Animal Planet - July 7-11
Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! Campers will have a chance to show their wild side by exploring animal habitats such as the jungle, forests, deserts, and the tundra. Join us for a week of all things wild and get ready to transform into your favourite creatures

Space Week - July 14-18 & August 18-22
Preparing for launch, this week is your ticket to space. These rocketeers will jet around the galaxy having a cosmic time exploring everything space through intergalactic games and Milky Way sensory play. They will return covered in stardust, but you will still love them to the moon and back! Countdown to Blast-Off in 10…9…8…

Splish Splash - July 21-25
Surf’s up! Campers will play with bubbles, slide the slip and slide, learn about sea creatures and splash their way through a fun-filled time at camp! Load up on that sunscreen… this is a one stop shop for wet and wild FUN

Ooey Gooey - August 5-8 (4-Day session)
Junior campers will wiggle, giggle, and squirm their way through this camp’s slimy activities. Your little scientist will make icky sticky concoctions, experiments that will BLOW their minds and be goofy with goopy games. Disclaimer: it’s going to get MESSY!

Enchanted Fairytales - August 11-15
Enter into an enchanted land inspired by myths, legends and magical friends! Days will be filled with activities and crafts sparked by fun and mystical adventures. Junior Campers will see their favourite stories come alive during this unimaginable week!
