RA Duplicate Bridge Lessons

​Learn to Play Bridge at the RA! Participants will learn the basics of the game during these eight week sessions. Each class is two hours long. Course material is based on Audrey Grant's new Bridge Basics and incorporates elements of the highly successful European teaching strategy called 'Minibridge'. By the end of the course students are prepared to play social bridge. Registration is required.
Bridge Basics (BB1)
This 8-week course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of bridge. Each two-hour session is based on Audrey Grant's updated Bridge Basics and incorporates elements of the popular European teaching method, Minibridge. By the end of the course, students will have the skills and confidence to play social bridge. Recommended reading: Bridge Basics 1: An Introduction by Audrey Grant.

FULL Bridge Basics 2 (BB2)
 In this 8-week course, you will deepen your understanding of competitive bidding strategies, including Pre-emptive Bidding, Overcalls and Advances, Takeout Doubles and Advances, and other key techniques. Designed for players who have completed Bridge Basics 1, this course will help you develop the skills needed to compete effectively at the table and make more strategic bidding decisions in competitive situations.
